The angle of the swooping road along with the surrounding hillsides almost gives the picture a warped perspective, as if you had used a fish eye lens. I love the contrasting colors as well. It looks B/W to me...lol..I don't think it really matters as in a past contest someone posted a b/w of a swan and it had a faint pink on the swan...it was beautiful!!! July 4, 2009 8:43 AM	j_fer	Thankyou - I am blowen away by all for your comments. The scenery at Norfolk Island is very similar to the scenery in the Lord of the Rings movie. In fact its shares similar geology to New Zealand, which a few hundred km south. I hope you too can see the similarity.

July 1, 2009 8:14 PM	j_fer	Yes this is a photo of actual scenery. Norfolk Island is a small island of the east coast of Australia. Its only about 5km long and 2km wide but its packed with scenery like this. Apart from a bit of added saturation that is about all I did to the photo. The place is just so green and lush with beautiful vistas at nearly every turn.
