July 26, 2008 1:38 AM	vanvic	I lived in Forest Park..off of Harlem ave., By Cicero. I worked at the N. Riverside K-mart. That should tell you the area pretty well. Do not know what it is like now..but I was always cautious...had to be, over there. Lake Shore Drive is great, Night or Day. But crowded, too. I either walked, or took the L...and do not think I miss that!! I am glad you like it there. It has lots of great, older arty style places, too. the arts were best. I learned from living there. Yeah..the rankings and voting on this site are all in a shambles...I am sure you picked up on that, by now. We are trying to let people know=vote your likes, and not the crowd. But it has been tough. Lots of resistance to fair voting, etc. I hope you do well. I like your work, also! I lived in Chicago for a time...did not like it. But, it is home, right!
